Typology
Private residence — architecture & interior
Role
Architectural & interior design, working drawings
Context
HIS Interior & Construction Enterprises

A house worked from the brick outward: facade, courtyard, foyer, drawing room, kitchen, bathroom.

The concept was inspired by boho architecture and style — layered textures, vintage pieces and natural finishes, combining colours, objects and patterns from many areas of the world.

Facade

The building faces a real brick texture. On the facade and courtyard wall a fixed glass window system is used, with a wooden main door.

A residential project for Panchkula at Chandigarh — architecture and interior design, inspired by modern architecture.

Typology
Facade study — elevation, detail & visualisation
Role
Facade detailing and 3D views
Context

An elevation, a legend of five materials, and four views of the same building in daylight.

The elevation carries its own key: wooden ACP sheet, white paint, ACP as per selection, texture as per selection, MS members. Every face on the render can be traced back to a letter on the drawing.

Side view of the facade in daylight: stone-clad piers, wood-effect ACP panels and deep recessed glazing across four storeys.

A Private Residence

Location
New Delhi, India
Typology
Renovation — interior architecture
Role
Freelance: design through execution
Context
Independent commission

A renovation of selected rooms — foyer, living, dining, entertainment room, bar, master bedroom — followed onto site.

A freelance project where a few key areas in a house had to be renovated. The client wanted the living room to look formal, while the other areas were personalised to his and his family's taste — his own bedroom, the family entertainment room, the dining area and the bar.

Two views of the renovated living room: shades of neutral brown, grey, navy blue, tan and mint paired with brass accents around a low table.

Dining & seating

A minimal marble and wood table with upholstered chairs; a crockery cabinet with a full-length bevelled mirror doubles the visual volume.

Dining area & mid-landing seating

Entertainment room

A neutral scheme with living coral as the accent; in the bar, wood dominates the palette at the client's request, with backlit onyx marble either side.

Plans, sections,
elevations, details.

The renders are the argument; these are the evidence. Every sheet here is one Tanveer produced — key plans, wall elevations, staircase sections, panelling build-ups and skirting junctions, dimensioned down to the millimetre. Open any of them full size.

28 technical drawings. Move across the wall, or select any sheet to enlarge.

Academic & thesis work

Before the site.

Studio and thesis projects from the Bachelor of Architecture at Gautam Buddha University, 2014 – 2019 — a campus, an urban redevelopment, an infrastructure piece and a set of smaller buildings. Kept here as they were drawn.

IIM Amritsar

Thesis · Institutional campus

The campus expressed something about the quality of its academic life, and its role as a citizen of the community in which it is located — home, museum, place of employment, social centre, park, and forum. All these functions had to be designed not for today but for the future.

Redevelopment of Nehru Place

Urban design

Three problems identified on site drove the scheme: parking, no defined entrance or exit, and circulation. The proposal answers them with a cubist build-form that keeps the hierarchy of the existing site, and rainwater harvesting — one rainfall on one acre generates 27,000 gallons.

Interior design

The design of the office is based on contemporary as well as traditional architecture. It helps people communicate to the outer world, which makes it efficient and soothing. Exposed brick work is used in the design.
